We are authorized to perform National Board “R” stamp welding repairs on high-pressure vessels including steam boilers and heating boilers and to fabricate materials and components in our in-house facility. Piping Systems also holds the “S” stamp which that we have has been authorized by the ASME to manufacture boilers and power piping. Although we do not manufacture boilers, we do assemble power piping assemblies.
A poorly maintained boiler ultimately leads to unexpected repair or replacement costs. With one-third of a facility’s energy bill coming from the boiler room, system inefficiency is the main contributor to wasted energy expense. This is mitigated with regular servicing and maintenance.
If your boiler has been well maintained but is a little “over-the-hill,” consider a boiler retrofit as an option. A retrofit is a good way to get back a few dollars lost to the inefficiency of an aging boiler.
To make this determination, have a PSI professional inspect the boiler. Many PSI technicians hold trade licenses in multiple disciplines, so we perform more services in-house with fewer technicians, just one way we keep labor costs low.
We fabricate high- and low-pressure steam boilers, heating boilers, and other pressure vessels with ASME “R” stamp certification, which we renew every 3 years. Having our own 18,000 sf in-house fabrication shop means you’ll reduce labor costs and see a faster turnaround on your project. Your materials are custom fit to your specifications, and you have minimum onsite business interruption since most work is done at our location.
